Disclaimer: Shop policies are NOT meant to be intimidating or discouraging. Nor are they meant to imply that things often go wrong in this shop. Shop policies exist to ease the process of resolving issues if they happen.

Shipping

If you order a possum during a restock, your order will usually ship within a week of placing the order. However, it may take up to 2 weeks.

If you order something outside of a restock, shipping may take up to 3 weeks.

For commissions, please allow at least 3 weeks before your order is completed and shipped.

Shipping Complications

If your order fails to arrive due to problems with USPS or your post office, please contact your post office or USPS. If the issue cannot be resolved, I will offer a refund or replacement.

I am not responsible if your order does not arrive due to mistakes on your part (example: inputting the wrong address at checkout).

If your package bounces and is returned to me due to a mistake on your end, a $6 fee will be charged to resend it. If you do not agree to pay the fee, your order will be refunded for the cost of the item. You will not be refunded for the original shipping cost.

If your package bounces and is returned to me due to a mistake on my end or because of USPS, I will resend it for free.

If you receive the wrong order, you may choose between a refund or a replacement.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Returns on physical items are not accepted.

Refunds on physical items may be accepted in certain extreme circumstances, such as if your item was lost in the mail. Refunds of these circumstances may be accepted or unaccepted at my discretion, depending on the situation. Generally, if the problem is not your fault, I will offer a refund.

Refunds on digital items are not accepted.

Order cancellations are not accepted after your physical order has shipped. If you request a cancellation before your order has shipped, the order may be cancelled, and you will receive a refund.

Exchanges may happen if you receive the wrong order. I will refund you the amount it costs to ship and I will ship the correct item to you. This is highly recommended if you receive the wrong order, but I cannot make you return the item you received.

Sometimes people offer their own art in exchange for some of mine. I generally do not accept these, unless the person offering is willing to trade something I really want :)

Commissions

Commissions are customized orders. They include customized Posms, accessories, and worm on a strings.

Commission transactions are done on a separate store page on NichetCrochet.com. Commissioners receive special links to purchase their commissions on this website. Commissions are not done through Paypal, not on any other website than this one.

Commissions are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.

Commissions must be fully paid-for before the process of fulfillment begins.

Commissions can take up to 4 weeks to complete after purchasing. This is because commissions are made-to-order, and crochet items take a long time to make.

All shop policies regarding shipping also apply to commissions.

Merch

Merch includes products such as hoodies, t-shirts, stickers, and other non-crochet and non-digital product items.

Unlike everything else sold at Nichet Crochet, merch is not handmade by me. It is produced and shipped by a company called Printful. Merch is made-to-order (the merch is not produced until you order it), which means it may take longer than my handmade items to be delivered to you.

Please keep in mind that from start to finish, I do not see nor handle products that are made by Printful.

If you have an issue with your merch order, I will happily solve it or compensate for you so long as you have a proof of purchase (such as an item number or an email receipt).

The art produced on the merch is made by me and my employee and we have the rights to the art. The art may not be copied and used.

Selling Nichet Crochet art as your own can result in legal action.

Selling Posms You Make

You are allowed to sell the Posms that you make with my patterns, however there are some rules.

  • You may sell Posms on your Etsy or other business site, as well as with friends, family, and vendor events.

  • You may sell Posms alongside other items that you sell.

  • You may not base your business on Posms made with my pattern.

  • Posms should not be the main focus of your crochet business.

In other words, you should not compete with me using my own pattern, nor should you become a Nichet Crochet II.

If you are unsure if your use of my pattern breaks policy, please reach out to me and I will let you know!

Though I never expect this to happen, breaking policy in regards to selling the Posms you create in extreme cases can result in legal action. Do not let that deter you, though, as no one has come remotely close to the extreme that would make me have to do that. I am very lenient and understanding :)

Crochet Pattern Policies

Reselling, publicly posting/publishing, or sharing my crochet patterns to large numbers of people is strictly not allowed.

  • This includes posting the pattern online, on a blog, on a social media post, or through a mass email. Other forms of sharing to a large audience are included in this list.

Every crochet pattern sold on this website and on my Etsy store is copyrighted material.

Reselling my crochet patterns is illegal.

Sharing the patterns with family and friends is completely fine! Sharing should not go beyond this.

Breaking policy in regards to Crochet Patterns will result in legal action.
