Cowboy Hat:

Sc - Single Crochet

Inc - Increase (Sc twice in one stitch)

Dec - Decrease (Invisible Decrease, Sc 1 in the front loops of two stitches at once)

Ch - Chain

Slst - Slip Stitch

BLO - Back loops only

FLO - Front loops only

FO - Fasten Off (Slip stitch in the next stitch, Ch 1, and pull and cut the yarn)

Rnd - a round of your work, with the end marked with a stitch marker

Bandana:

C2C - Corner to Corner

Dc - Double Crochet

Ch - Chain

Slst - Slip Stitch

FO - Fasten Off (Slip stitch in the next stitch, Ch 1, and pull and cut the yarn.

Cowboy Hat:

The project is started by chaining twice and then single crocheting six times into the first chain.

If you prefer, you can use a magic circle instead.

[crochet words]x6 - brackets indicate that something is repeated multiple times in one round. The number outside of the brackets tells you how many times it should be repeated.

(##) - Numbers inside parentheses at the end of a round tells you the stitch count of that round.

If there is no stitch count after a round, then the stitch count is the same as the last round.

The BLO can be replaced with Back Post single crocheting, if you know how to do that.

Bandana:

The bandana uses the Corner to Corner stitch (C2C). If you already know how to C2C, great! If not, the process will be shown in the instructions.
